Barcelona!
When you think of a modernism city in Spain, Barcelona come to mind. Is on of the top cities in Spain for this kind of art style. Barcelona is one of the most visited cities by those who wants to get closer to modern art and its most important exponents!
The main attraction is Sagrada Familia, a beautiful cathedral from the modern artist Gaudi. It is full of colors and designs, ideal for travel in guided tours where history will inform us of Gaudi, the great legacy of his work in Europe and the world, and the explanation of his works of art in modern style.
Some sights places to visit is "Passeig de Gràcia" where you can find some buildings which represents this style, like "Pedrera house" or "Casa Batllò".
Moreover, there are lots of beautiful places to enjoy the city and to live the Spanish culture. The "Boqueria Market". It's a paradise for going shopping. It is an other modernist design building which has been created in line with the style of Gaudi. The market offers exquisite fish, fruits, meats, homemade beers and wines. It
is a very visited and crowded so we recommend visiting during the
morning or late at night because the hours of lunch and dinner is almost
impossible to enter!
Barcelona was chosen as the city to celebrate the Olympics Games in 1992. In the next picture you can see the Montjuïc Stadium.
There is a beautiful area with a lovely beach in the city too. This beach is called "La Bareloneta" and there you can enjoy of an awesome dish from our country; "Paella". Finally, after this spectacular lunch you can take a rest called "La siesta" in the beach!
