The "city of tomorrow" is here!

Barcelona!

When you think of a modernism city in Spain, Barcelona come to mind. Is on of the top cities in Spain for this kind of art style. Barcelona is one of the most visited cities by those who wants to get closer to modern art and its most important exponents!
The main attraction is  Sagrada Familia, a beautiful cathedral from the modern artist Gaudi. It is  full of colors and designs, ideal for travel in guided tours where history will inform us of Gaudi, the great legacy of his work in Europe and the world, and the explanation of his works of art in modern style.
Some sights places to visit is "Passeig de Gràcia" where you can find some buildings which represents this style, like "Pedrera house" or "Casa Batllò".

Moreover, there are lots of beautiful places to enjoy the city and to live the Spanish culture.  The "Boqueria Market". It's a paradise for going shopping. It is an other modernist design building which has been created in line with the style of Gaudi. The market offers exquisite fish, fruits, meats, homemade beers and wines. It is a very visited and crowded so we recommend visiting during the morning or late at night because the hours of lunch and dinner is almost impossible to enter!

Barcelona was chosen as the city to celebrate the Olympics Games in 1992. In the next picture you can see the Montjuïc Stadium.

There is a beautiful area with a lovely beach in the city too. This beach is called "La Bareloneta" and there you can enjoy of an awesome dish from our country; "Paella". Finally, after this spectacular lunch you can take a rest called "La siesta" in the beach!

The soundtrack of my life

When I was a child I used to listen and watch  Michael Jackson's videos. I used to love his style of dancing and he used to makes me feel really good with some of his songs. I show you one special for me in which you could appreciate what I'm talking about; his dance style. There is a special thing he used to do called "Moonwalker" and he showed it to the world in 1982/83 in one of the most popular song called Billie Jean...

This song is a mixt between rebellious and energetic music, that's the way it makes me feel....

There is another song from Petula Clark (a 60's singer),  that I usually listen to when  I'm feeling sad. As you can guess I'm not focusing on getting sadder, it makes me feel happy and it encourages me to get better. It is because of its lyrics are simple but enought for helping you in a sad moment.

Now is time to moving songs. This one called "Oh Fortuna", it used to makes me think about its lyrics but the thing I like the most of it is its beat like Billie Jean...

And the last one a little bit rebellious is from Gossip, an English girl who tells us with them interesting things...

Some advices to walk alone in a big city!

Maybe, you will think it's not so important  to be careful in this adventure of walking alone in a new city, but yes it is. You should  pay attention to some suggestions. This advice will help you to  not take some risks or not live some bad experiences out there!.
Well, we know there are some silly things we think never will forget if we start an adventure like this, but trust me, even knowing that these silly things could happen to you!

First of all, the most important things you should bring with you are your phone and a map of the city. Don't forget your phone could die. In that case you won't have some important information about your contact list of friends or important people who could help you. So it'd better to have another one or a phone list in a paper. Once you have fixed this, now you can start exploring new places...

Be careful with the areas you go, don't forget to ask to the tourist office the safe places in the city and the ones you shouldn't go.
Make sure you know a few things about the city, as where you could eat cheaper or places you can visit for free! Well it depends on your economy, but anyway,  it is always  good to know that.

Remember to keep  your things in a  safe place in case you travel in public transport or in case you are in crowded places. It is important to do it even if you are not gonna take risks as last ones I told you, trust me... You could lose your phone or even your car keys visiting a big department store like Decathlon! See, a typical situation in which you woudn't  think it could happen!

Be friendly with people who could help you, remember you could get lost any moment, and maybe you  are not gonna be able to solve it by yourself!

Now, time for some advice for knowing new cultures!

If you are in a country in which the culture is very different from yours , you have to be nice and open minded. I mean, don't be unfriendly with their proposals if they want to show you how things go. So, try to taste their food, listen to some new ways of  living...

Remember the public transport timetables because it might be important for you if you want to come back home after going out at night!

Black humor!

Hey guys! Here you have a picture from google about black humor... Let's see what going on in this picture!

I think he must be asking for getting married. I guess that because of the way they are doing that. It seems like a romantic situation, you know.. with some flowers, the girl well dressed.....
But... what happened after she started laughing at him???....

I think she can't be in love with him because she doesn't follow the steps. She should have kissed him after that or hug him at least, it didn't happen, obviously....

He might haven't been asking for getting married because he was wearing a gun... maybe he wanted to kill himself in case she didn't accept, but.... Finally, I guess he can't accept somebody laughing at him and then he must have killed the woman and then went away. But, what do you think about the flower's branch? How could they keep like this? maybe, they might have had a stick inside them... right???
